Sylvie Armstrong
Sylvie Armstrong is a Volunteer Writer at BioNews, and is currently studying for a PhD in Law at the European University Institute in Florence. Her research explores the regulation of the commercial surrogacy industry, focusing in particular on whether it would be possible to use a labour law framework to manage these arrangements. Previously, she studied Law at the University of Cambridge, and went on to become a Visiting Scholar in Law at the University of California, Berkeley.
