The Annual Meeting of the British Infertility Counselling Association, focusing on the challenges and ethical dilemmas that counsellors face in the fertility setting.

Topics discussed will include:

  • Men's emotional needs and support

  • A donor-conceived adult's perspective

  • An update on transgender issues

  • The Fertility experience of black & minority ethnic women

  • The trauma of infertility in couples work

Speakers include:

  • Dr Esmée Hanna (Centre for Men's Health, Leeds Beckett University)

  • Tom (donor-conceived adult)

  • Garry Paton (producer of 'The Crossing', a thought-provoking short film about men's infertility)

  • Dr Sofia Gameiro (School of Psychology, Cardiff University)

  • Joanna Rosenthall (Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust)
