Quest for Orthologs
Wellcome Trust Conference Centre, Wellcome Trust Genome Campus, Hinxton, Cambridge CB10 1RQ, UK
3 July 2009 - 5 July 2009
An event addressing the growing list of methods and databases in orthology inference.
Methods and databases in orthology inference are highly relevant in comparative genomics analyses and model organism databases. Each method or database focuses on different resolution levels, phylogenetic depths or molecular evidences, resulting in different sensitivity and specificity scores. This event will highlight recent advances in the field, discuss the current challenges, agree on exchange formats and assessments metrics to precisely compare the different inference sets, and plan for the data that will come from the next generation sequencing wave.
Attendance fees range from £260 to £560. To register, use this online form.
