When IVF Embryos Are No Longer Needed for Treatment', being held online on Tuesday 29 September 2020A free-to-attend online event, taking place next week from 5pm-6.30pm (BST) on Tuesday 29 September 2020.

This event, produced by the Progress Educational Trust (PET) in partnership with the Scottish Government, will explore what happens to unused embryos following the completion of fertility treatment.

The event will be chaired by Sarah Norcross, with speakers including:

  • Joanne Leitch (Lead Clinical Embryologist and Laboratory Manager at Glasgow Royal Infirmary)

  • Kate Brian (Representative of Fertility Network UK)

  • Adèle Marston (Professor of Cell Biology at the University of Edinburgh)

  • Laura Riley (Head of Policy at the HFEA)

Attendees will not be audible or visible during this online event, but will still be able to put questions and comments to the speakers and chair, via a Q&A tool within Zoom Video Webinars.
