Engagement and Development Co-ordinator

Address: South London
Salary: £30,000 + 8% pension contribution

Antenatal Results and Choices (ARC) is a small national charity providing non-directive information and specialised support to women and couples through antenatal screening and its consequences. ARC is looking for a full-time Engagement and Development Co-ordinator.

Do you want to make a positive difference to women's lives by raising awareness of ARC's services?

Could you help health professionals do a difficult job to the best of their ability?

Could you maintain and develop ARC's relationships with key health professionals in the field?

Could you provide support to women and couples facing difficult news in their pregnancy?

The Engagement and Development Co-ordinator is responsible for developing relationships with healthcare professionals working in antenatal care across the UK. You will maintain and build on the respect ARC has in the field and deliver our professional training programme.

You will also answer calls and emails on ARC's national helpline. This involves providing non-directive information and support to contacts who can be very distressed.

You will be a quick learner with excellent presentation and communication skills, a commitment to a woman making her own reproductive decisions, enthusiasm, and capacity to manage the emotional impact of the work and fit well into a small dedicated team. The job is based in our south London office and will involve travel and some overnight stays.
