Professor Allan Pacey, Trustee at the Progress Educational Trust and chair of 'The Birth of IVF', a public event taking place on the afternoon of Thursday 7 June as part of the Cheltenham Science Festival A public event at the Cheltenham Science Festival produced in collaboration with the Progress Educational Trust (PET), the charity that publishes BioNews.

Sarah Norcross, Director of the Progress Educational Trust and speaker at 'The Birth of IVF', a public event taking place on the afternoon of Thursday 7 June as part of the Cheltenham Science Festival The event will be chaired by PET Trustee Professor Allan Pacey and will explore the past, present and future of IVF, as the world's first IVF baby turns 40.

Speakers will include Sarah Norcross (Director of PET), Dr Jane Stewart (Chair of the British Fertility Society) and Dr Kay Elder (Senior Research Scientist at Bourn Hall Clinic).
