Joseph Hamilton

Joseph Hamilton is a Volunteer Writer at BioNews, having originally joined the publication under the auspices of its writing scheme. He is studying for a PhD in Neuroscience at University College London (UCL)'s Queen Square Institute of Neurology, where he works in Professor Sarah Tabrizi's team. His research explores the role of DNA repair genes in Huntington's disease, with a primary focus on FAN1 and members of the mismatch repair pathway. Previously, he studied Forensic Psychobiology at Abertay University, and went on to obtain an MSc in Neuroscience from UCL.
