Georgina Al-Badri

Georgina Al-Badri is a Volunteer Writer at BioNews, having originally joined the publication under the auspices of its writing scheme. She is currently studying for a PhD in Mathematical Biology at University College London (UCL), where her research combines mathematical, computational and experimental techniques to advance the manufacture of engineered tissues, by modelling cell migration and pattern formation under different experimental conditions. This research is conducted as part of Professor Rebecca Shipley's group, at UCL's Centre for Nerve Engineering and Institute for Healthcare Engineering.
