Sujatha Jayakody
Sujatha Jayakody was previously a Volunteer Writer at BioNews, having originally joined the publication under the auspices of its internship scheme. She is currently studying for a PhD at University College London's Institute of Child Health, where she previously completed an MRes in Biomedicine. Her current research, conducted in the laboratory of Dr Juan Pedro Martinez-Barbera, focuses on the genetic and developmental basis of pituitary gland development. Previously, she studied Biology at the University of Manchester, where she took a special interest in human anatomy in relation to disease.
