Please support the BioNews appeal

At the Progress Educational Trust (PET), we pride ourselves on our make-do-and-mend attitude. Being careful with PET's funds is part of our culture – we recently repurposed our stepladder as a flipchart easel!

The lack of financial resources means we have to think creatively. So when we needed a gimmicky giveaway for the Fertility Show, we decided to order some salt sachets and brand them with some PET stickers we had been given. Everyone who visited our exhibition stand was given information about BioNews and a pinch of salt (to remind them not to take all the promises being made at the show at face value). For just £10 we developed an excellent public engagement tool.

We really value every single donation we receive, and we do everything we can to keep our overheads down. In this way, we maximise the resources we have to fulfil our vision of improving choices for people affected by infertility and genetic conditions.

But even with these economies, times are tight for PET and some of its funders, so we need your help. We still need to raise funds to enable us to continue publishing BioNews. Please help us reach our £4000 target via PayPal (click here), by text (text 'PROG23 £10' or any other amount to 70070) or by post (as detailed here).
