World Association of Reproductive Medicine Congress

The 5th Biennial Congress of the World Association of Reproductive Medicine.

Topics addressed at this event will include:

  • reproductive endocrinology;

  • preimplantation genetic diagnosis, stem cells and reprogramming;

  • male infertility;

  • ovulation induction;

  • endoscopy;

  • oncology and reproduction;

  • gender based medicine, including the ageing female and the ageing male;

  • psychology in reproductive medicine;

  • ethics in reproductive medicine;

  • laboratory applications of animal research.

The event will incorporate a presentation by Ada Yonath - Professor of Structural Biology and Director of the Helen and Milton A Kimmelman Centre for Biomolecular Structure and Assembly at the Chaim Weizmann Institute of Science, joint recipient of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2009, and a contributor to the books From Molecules to Medicines: Structure of Biological Macromolecules and Its Relevance in Combating New Diseases and Bioterrorism and Conformational Proteomics of Macromolecular Architecture: Approaching the Structure of Large Molecular Assemblies and Their Mechanisms of Action.

Selected proceedings of the event will be published in the journal Reproductive Biomedicine Online produced by Elsevier.
