Infertility Matters

British Infertility Counselling Association

An event addressing infertility.

Topics addressed at this event will include:

  • the meaning of fertility and reproduction for individuals and couples;

  • the impact upon individuals and couples when parenthood is difficult or impossible to achieve;

  • the broader context in which fertility treatment occurs;

  • the experience of assisted conception treatment;

  • the role of the counsellor in the licensed clinic;

  • the role of the counsellor working independently of the clinic.

Participants will have the opportunity to bring case studies of their own and to work in small groups.
