Topics addressed at this event will include:

the meaning of fertility and reproduction for individuals and couples;

the impact upon individuals and couples when parenthood is difficult or impossible to achieve;

the broader context in which fertility treatment occurs;
-
the experience of assisted conception treatment;
-
the role of the counsellor in the licensed clinic;
-
the role of the counsellor working independently of the clinic.
Participants will have the opportunity to bring case studies of their own and to work in small groups.
