Salary: Salary Grade 7 - £30,747 to £35,646 p.a. Fixed Term Contract for 2 years.

A post-doctoral researcher is required to help drive genomics laboratory projects related to human genome variation. Research areas of interest include method innovation, technology development, disease analysis, population genetics, and analysis of complex genomes. In particular, the position will involve the use and deployment of diverse modern assay platforms for genomics experimentation.
The applicant will collaboratively oversee and contribute high-tech experimental capacity to a number of key projects, and in this way interact with many different research teams. Candidates must therefore have completed, or in the process of submitting, a genetics/genomics PhD program involving complex genome analysis, preferably having had considerable responsibilities in that work and/or in subsequent positions.
