Two Clinical Fellows in Reproductive Medicine

Job location: Swansea, Cardiff and London
Salary: A salary range of £40,000 to £45,000 is applicable including weekend work and commensurate with skills.

The London Women's Clinic (LWC) has been at the forefront of IVF technology for over 25 years. Plans are under way as we enhance and expand our range of technologies and patient facilities between these Centres. We expect to perform over 2,500 IVF and donor insemination cycles during 2010.

Applications are invited for the post of two Clinical Fellows to join our well established fertility Clinic. The post will provide an excellent opportunity for clinical training in all aspects of Reproductive Medicine and Assisted Conception within a busy Centre. An active participation in Audit will be encouraged.

The contract is for one year initially but can be extended to two years for those showing satisfactory progress in post. One post is based in our clinic in Harley Street, London and another one at our Centres in Swansea and Cardiff. Applicants wanting to be based in Wales and willing to travel to Harley Street are also encouraged to apply.

Person Specification:

Essential requirements include MRCOG or its equivalent, two years post-MRCOG experience of obstetrics and gynaecology, experience in fertility and gynaecology scanning, full GMC Registration with license to practise and the right to live and work in the United Kingdom.

Candidates will also need to provide evidence of working as part of a multidisciplinary team and demonstrate IT skills with meticulous attention to documentation and record keeping with a flexible approach to working hours including weekends.

Working with fellow clinicians and the embryology and nursing team, this is a unique opportunity for an ambitious candidate to develop IVF skill base and progress onto an IVF Specialist position.
