Motherhood in the 21st Century

A conference cosponsored by the charity that publishes BioNews, the Progress Educational Trust (PET), addressing why some women choose to become mothers late in life and associated ethical issues.

Speakers at this event include Sarah Norcross, Director of the Progress Educational Trust (PET) and Commissioning Editor of BioNews. The event will incorporate an opening address by Robert Winston - Labour Party Peer, Professor of Science and Society and Emeritus Professor of Fertility Studies at Imperial College London, and author of books including A Child Against All Odds (buy this book from Amazon UK or Amazon USA) and Evolution Revolution: From Darwin to DNA (buy this book from Amazon UK or Amazon USA).

The attendance fee is £60. This covers refreshments including an evening buffet reception.
