Handling Uncertainty in Science

An event addressing how uncertainty can be best characterised, estimated, predicted and communicated.

Scientists from a range of disciplines will discuss how to handle uncertainty in their area of specialisation. Discussion will also focus on how decisions are made, and should be made, in the light of scientific uncertainty.

Attendance is free. An optional lunch is offered each day for £15+VAT per day, and must be booked during registration. To register, use this online form or contact the Royal Society at or on +44 (0)20 7451 2500.
