In BioNews issue 484 we published a commentary on the recent 'L' decision. Since that time, we have been in communication with Diane Blood and also the solicitor acting for 'L' with respect to the article's accuracy. In the light of the comments made by these parties, we have altered some of the text of the commentary (the revised version of which can now be read and apologise to Mrs Blood and to 'L' for any distress that may have been caused. A commentary written by L's solicitor is published this week, responding to many of the points raised in the original commentary, and is available www.bionews.org.uk online.
