Progress Educational Trust would like to congratulate Dr Simon Best, who has been awarded an OBE for his services to the bioscience industry.

Simon Best is founder and Chairman of Ardana Bioscience, based in Edinburgh, specialising in human reproductive biology and is a past chair of the BioIndustry Association. He is also a generous supporter of the work of Progress Educational Trust and spoke at our annual conference 'Putting stem cells into practice' and has written for BioNews: 'Stem Cells: Contrasting views from the US and UK at BIO 2005'.
