Autism, Ethics and the Good Life

02 April 2012 - 9am-6pm An event marking World Autism Awareness Day, addressing the question of what a 'good life' is for those on the autism spectrum and their families, and how accounts of autistic flourishing should inform education, service design and delivery and public policy.
The event will incorporate a presentation entitled 'Is Autism a Disorder? Is Autism an Identity?' by BioNews Webmaster and Progress Educational Trust (PET) Communications Officer Sandy Starr, who devised the PET project Spectrum of Opinion: Genes, Autism and Psychological Spectrum Disorders.
