An event aimed at fertility professionals, experienced or newly qualified, who deal with breaking bad news.

Topics addressed at this event will include:

• why it is difficult to break bad news and how to cope with different reactions from patients;

• looking at and understanding different staff responses ;

• increasing skills both face-to-face and on the telephone when dealing with giving difficult news;

• identifying the support that is needed for staff when having to continually break bad news.
