Topics addressed at this event will include:
why it is difficult to break bad news and how to cope with different reactions from patients;
looking at and understanding different staff responses ;
increasing skills both face-to-face and on the telephone when dealing with giving difficult news;
identifying the support that is needed for staff when having to continually break bad news.
