Ayesha Ahmad

Ayesha Ahmad is a Volunteer Writer at BioNews, and is studying for a PhD at Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry at the Universities of Exeter and Plymouth, where her research focuses on how the human embryo is conceptualised in contemporary Western scientific medicine. She is also a Visiting Research Fellow at Durham University, and she writes for the British Medical Journal's Medical Humanities blog and for the Newsletter of the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.
